And yes, she has left with a couple of boxes but she spent the last part of it on the floor packing the ones to take so there will be no surprises on fairblues floor tonight.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Tania and Archie, both.

:thanks: :thanks:

Thanks to their hard work and willingness to post overseas, yesterday I received the three Biggles books which I did not own.

They've been working together for so long that each seems to know by a sort of telepathy when another is in trouble. One never seems to get them together. Get one & the others come after him. To give the devil his due they make a formidable team.

I would recommend that you start reading the whole series from the beginning again slotting your new books into their rightful place in order.

Well, there's always Gimlet and Worrals and the hundred and one other "non-Biggles" WEJ :-) Actually Biggles turns up in many of the Gimlet books as a side character, usually with Ginger and sometimes Bertie.
(Raymond) "'It's the early bird that catches the worm, you know,'
'... Not always. Sometimes he catches a slug—in the back of the neck,' contradicted Biggles.

Congratulations! A moment of deep satisfaction, just before you ask: now what? A vision of an Uncle Scrooge-like diving from a springboard into huge piles of books, and backstroking your way from shelf to shelf...?? Or maybe just setting them into chronological order and starting the very long process of reading them all. Enjoy!

I've already entertained the idea of the Scrooge McDuck swim!

I read them all in chronological order about three years ago when I got them back out of my parents' attic after a long spell without them. It took me about 14 months. It had the same soothing effect as getting a cup of coffee and having a long chat with a friend you haven't seen in years.

Party time!
I shall raise either a Gimlet or an Aviator next time I make a cocktail.
