They chatted a while longer then a car drove up, the driver dropping off his passengers before driving off to find somewhere to park.
'Major Bigglesworth' said Von Stalhein coldly, 'there are times when I seriously wonder if you were created by the devil just to annoy me.'

"Right, that's it," Major Charles told Biggles cheerfully. "We'll take it from here."

They packed their kit into the car and said their goodbyes, Biggles thankful to escape before Freddie's predilection for his company became an embarrassment.

Driving away, Biggles remarked
'Not often that we get someone back from the dead in our line of business, but if I ever show any signs of settling down, remind me how much work a baby is!'
'Major Bigglesworth' said Von Stalhein coldly, 'there are times when I seriously wonder if you were created by the devil just to annoy me.'

"Don't worry, we will," the other three chorused together. They knew their Biggles and being volunteered for free baby-sitting duties wasn't their idea of enjoyment at all.

The End.

I think this one is all wrapped up. Well done, everyone. Nice ending, FB. Of course, Biggles would get them to babysit!
