Spitfire and Sopwith Camel flying together in NZ

This may have already been posted. I walked into the 'study' and found Mr Tiff watching this. Needless to say I demanded a link!

Wowza! Beautiful footage!
That camel looks like a real wild thing!! :wavemachine:
It's amazing to see those two birds flying together. I had no idea any airworthy Camels remained! Legend. Thanks for posting this, Tiff. Love his pronounciation of "Douglas Bade-urr" at the end, lol.
Petroffsky beamed. 'Now you may be certain of seeing me soon,' he declared. 'Au revoir. Remember, my rifle is at your command.'
'And my chocolate is at yours,' returned Biggles, smiling. 'Goodbye for now.'

That is stunning, Tiff! Thank you (and Mr. Tiff) for sharing.

For a minute there I was a little worried that the propeller spinning guy was going to have his head sheared off.

The Camel looked so tiny compared to the Spitfire too!
"For goodness sake stop that Yankee drawl, or you'll have us all doing it before you've finished."
"OK baby - sorry - I mean, righto."
"That's better."

I see our other halves appear to be interested in this sort of thing too. Excellent footage, thanks to Mr Tiff for finding it.

Bit like him and me sometimes!
He's been watching Jay Leno and his cars. I was alerted by the sound of a different engine.

Found the original posting after a good long search. 299 times 'Sopwith' is mentioned on the forum. I am so glad Soppy's user name is one entire word!

Thanks to TS for posting it originally, back in 2013
