The Challenge!

Not too good. What I thought was a goer, didn’t turn out right and will have to be posted later under a more suitable title. I’ll produce something, but what or how long it will be is the question.

I'm about one-third-ish through, but already I can tell you with 100% certainty the names of the people on the forum who are going to HATE this story...

:scared: What to do? So much mayhem, so little time...

I'm really intrigued by this, Soppy.

Oh dear. Still, two stories. That's got to be a win for everyone who enjoys reading your fics, FB.

I’m about half done with my entry. I hope to finish with writing but I can’t promise it will be as polished as it could be...

I was just going to lurk on this as I feel my fic abilities are embarrassingly poor esp in present company, but letting my mind run wild while putting my 2 yr old to nap has given me a germ of an idea for a one-scene short vignette, though it remains to be seen if it can be translated into something suitable for public consumption before deadline!

Go for it! That sounds like just the thing to share in the Challenge. I hope you manage to write it.

I hope you post it! I am home with a sick child today myself, so I hope I can think of some things to add to mine, which has a beginning and an end, but is missing a big chunk out of the middle.

I've still got a lot to write and tidy up, so sadly, I'm not going to be able to help. If absolutely no one else can do it, then you could send it to me on Thursday and I'll have a look and get back to you later that day, but it would be a rush job so it would be better if someone else has more time and can do it.

I'm going to have to put a disclaimer in front of mine

Or perhaps I should see if I should come up with something else in the time?

I blame the remnants of sunstroke. The whole thing is taking on the twisted reality of a nightmare played out in a funhouse mirror...

And--is it worse than Biggles Married? Yes. Yes, it is. Very much so.

Question:

Does it have to be the phrase “bird of paradise” or can it be any such bird, i.e., a parrot?
